Reframing the Life of a 20th-century Illustrator
There Has to be Magic: The Art of Evelyn Kok
Evelyn Kok was a medical illustrator in mid-1900s Maine with a fascinating life story. This book reframes her technical work as art, along with displaying her personal watercolors in a collection for the first time.

The narrative of her art and life run concurrently throughout book, and are distinguished through a method of color-coding. I was responsible for the art direction, design, and visual storytelling between the images and text.
